BOOKS READ LAST WEEK:
![]() |
| Sun Mage by John Forrester Stay tuned for my review!! The Stories That Haunt Us by Bill Jessome Great ghost stories from the maritimes! Some were truly terrifying! Triple Shot Bettys in Love by Jody Gehrman Not the most amazing book I've read but it was a nice read. Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick I hesitated a bit before reading this one. I've read Hush, Hush when it first came out and well, honestly, I don't remember anything. Surprisingly I was able to follow the story and enjoy it. Two Truths and A Lie (Lying Games #3) by Sara Shepard Love this series! Not as good as PLL but I still enjoy reading them. Has anyone seen the TV show? Bamboo People by Mitali Perkins Great read! The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin HUGE disappointment! The first few chapters were so good but I can't say that for the rest of the book. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs I have one word for this book: AMAZING! Love the creepy pictures!
CURRENTLY READING:
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern Started this one last night and it's really good so far!

I loved The Night Circus too - and agree with you about Mara Dyer - I thought it was "aaight" but don't plan on following the series.
So many raves around the blogosphere about Maya that I've almost sought it out...glad to hear some other thoughts.
Here's my
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you will come by and say hello.
Miss pettigrew's Home is wonderfully creepy. I also loved The Night Circus. I started it on audio and then finished up in the book so I could find out what happened faster.
Hi Melanie- I hadn't heard of Bamboo People before seeing it on your blog. It looks intense!

Whoa...nice read (and reading) list! Agreed on MISS PEREGRINE...great book, creepy pictures and there's a sequel scheduled for next year! Becca Fitzpatrick's series is addictive though I'm a tad behind...need to read SILENCE to be prepared for Oct release of FINALE! So many books, so little time. Happy reading!
Wow, you've read a lot & lots of great books on your read, reading & tbr list :) and although quite a few of them are on my tbr list, I've read only Anna Dressed in Blood & loved it, so I hope you will, too.
I've just ordered Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children. I'm glad that you liked it :)
Miss Peregrine's Home is AWESOME! I really liked it and cannot wait for the sequel - so creepy cool!
