A witch on the run.

A quiet little town where everything is far from normal.

Just what is her new home town's big mystery? Is Stella's new charge really on the run from the Council or is she a dangerous murderer ready to manipulate her way to freedom? And with old friends and new seemingly ready to help, who can Stella trust when she's not even all that sure that they don't have their own agenda.

With bewitching friends and two super-sexy mysterious men by her side, Stella must uncover dangerous truths, fast, before she ends up paying the ultimate price.

Author Bio :

Hi, I'm Camilla and I'm the author of Illicit Magic and Unruly Magic, the first two books in the Stella Mayweather Paranormal Series. The series starts with a lonely young English woman, Stella, who has been caught up in a terrifying witch hunt and is whisked thousands of miles away to what she thinks is safety to learn her craft. The series is a blend of magic and mystery with a splash of romance and a dash of humour - and while the girls really do go all out to save themselves, there's always a hunky guy or two on hand to help them out.

I live in London, UK but I try to travel as often as I can - lately I've been to Paris, all over Denmark, Luxembourg, and several US states. In my day job I'm a journalist and editor so I write for magazines, newspapers and websites throughout the world (my favourite assignment was spending a week riding rollercoasters - if you listen carefully you can probably still hear me screaming).

Ruthless (Pretty Little Liars, #10)

Anyone else waiting  for the 10th Pretty Little Liars book? Ruthless by Sara Shepard will be out December 6th (my mom's birthday). I should just tell her to ask for the book on her birthday so I can read it. Sounds like a good idea, right? I'm kidding...I won't do that! In the meantime, I'll just watch the tv show. :)

Do you have any books you're dying to read? Please share! :)

ARC REVIEW : The Lost Angel by Javier Sierra

The Lost Angel

Author : Javier Sierra
Expected publication: October 4th 2011 by Simon & Schuster Adult Publishing Group

Book courtesy of Simon & Schuster Canada

The book follows a woman with a very mysterious and unique gift. Julia is the only one who can activate stones called "adamantes". These stones are used to communicate with angels.  When her husband is kidnapped by Middle East terrorists convinced they are the living descendants of angels and plan on returning to heaven, Julia must put her gift to use in order to see her husband again. It's not as easy as she thinks since a lot of people want the stones for their own use...

It's evident while reading this book that the author put a lot of hard work in researching history and facts. The book is filled with interesting historical facts and the Bible is mentioned a few times but I'd say The Lost Angel is more of an adventure novel than a religious one. The book even has a glossary at the beginning that I found very helpful throughout the book.

The Lost Angel is a fast-paced novel. Once you start reading, you can't put it down. I've read it in a day. It's that good! There's non-stop action from the first page to the last. It's an exciting novel that I think will please fans of Dan Brown's work.

I'm Baaack! + In My Mailbox

Hey everyone!

I've been really quiet in the blogging world recently but don't worry I was still reading your posts.

I've been reading like crazy when I had some free time from work. I had a job at the library so it was pretty hard not reading as much as I wanted too. I've read some great books in the past few weeks and I just need to stop being lazy and write the reviews.

I'm starting my 4th year of university on Tuesday and I will do my very best to keep blogging as much as I can.

Anyhow, here's a list of the books I got this week::

For review:

Dreams and Nightmares by Ann Werner

Dreams and Nightmares

Bought:

Twisted (Pretty Little Liars #9) by Sara Shepard

My co-workers are huge fans of the tv show and tried to get me to watch it too. Being the book worm that I am, I HAD to read the books. I'm hooked on these books and I bought the first season of the tv show. I've heard it's very different from the books but I still want to watch it.

Twisted (Pretty Little Liars, #9)

From the library:

I'm ashamed to say that I only got a library card this summer while working.  In my crazy mind, I thought they wouldn't have the books I wanted to read. Boy, was I wrong!

Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris

Dead as a Doornail (Sookie Stackhouse, #5)

Definitely Dead by Charlaine Harris

Definitely Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #6)

All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris

All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #7)

I can't wait to see what you all got in your mailbox this week! Leave the link to your post in the comments and I will check it out.

Until next time, Happy Reading!
