Destiny Booze is a romantic suspense and thriller author. She's the author of Altered Beginnings, The Curse of a Mind and Predetermined Endings. Visit her website to find out more about her or where you can buy her books. You can even read samples. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out!

1. My real name is Destiny Booze. I do not use a pen name. My mom found the name Destiny in a romance novel. My husband gifted me with the last name.
2. I’m a multi-published author of romantic suspense/thriller novels that are available internationally, and I love saying that! I’m so proud of my accomplishments thus far.
3. I'm recently addicted to Supernatural! That show is awesome! I also love Die Hard movies. I own every single one of them. Bruce Willis is the man! There's just something about over the top action movies that I find entertaining.
4. My hair is naturally blond. It's true that I live up to the reputation behind that hair color at times. I admit it. I have my goofy moments! It's a good thing I can laugh things off easily!
5. My nickname is Chuckles. My little brother started calling me that when we were kids. He thinks the way I laugh is funny. When I get going, I really get going to the point where I have to gasp for breaths in between giggles.
6. My big toe is so fat that it looks pregnant. It's freaky. It's shaped exactly like a pregnant woman. I would post a picture, but I would be too embarrassed…lol!
7. I think I’m addicted to cheeseburgers. Love them, love them, love them so much! Just thinking about them makes me want to eat one.
8. My first job was cleaning bathrooms at a campground. Yes, I even scrubbed the toilets. :) Go me!
9. I'm my favorite author...hehehe. Other authors I enjoy are Tami Hoag, Dean Koontz, Allison Brennan and Janet Evanovich.
10. My husband thinks I’m directionally dysfunctional. He’ll most likely buy me GPS for my car this Christmas. I get picked on so badly over this by my family, but I’m a good sport about it!
Thanks Destiny!! I'm not even a blond and I have my goofy moments so don't worry about it! lol
Have you ever tried the cheeseburger flavored Doritos? Yummy!!! :D
I also get picked on a lot over my lack of sense of direction. I'm so bad it's kinda embarrassing! lol

10 Fun Facts About Cynthia Meyers-Hanson
**Every week, one author or blogger will share 10 fun facts with us. If you would like to be featured, email me at melvautour(at)hotmail(dot)com.**
Please welcome the lovely Cynthia Meyers Hanson. She's the author of many books including The Evans Terrace Girls, Stacey's Song and Mom's on the Roof and I Can't Get Her Down. To find out more of her work click here.
1. I wrote my first book Mom's on the Roof and I Can't Get Her Down in 1994 in response to overwhelming requests in the Orlando area to hear the story about the miracles that happened in Lake Mary during the terminal death of my mother. It is an inspirational and faith healing tale more than it is a book about cancer. It’s available for sale @ www.lulu.com/mchanson714 & AMAZON.com or to freely read @ http://mchanson714.blogspot.com.
2. I wrote my first fiction to talk about suicide without offending, embarrassing, or exposing living family members. DISCLAIMER: That book’s characters are drastically changed and recombined people rather than exactly my kin and friends. It's a haunting ‘who dun it’ tale that ends in the murderer being mental illness and depression. Look for books especially Surreal- The Hell in the Family by Sydney S. Song @ www.lulu.com/mchanson714 & AMAZON.com.
3. My daughters and I wrote their story of grief recovery in two separated books. Stacey's Song explains what my niece went through especially at age ten when her parents died about three weeks apart. It chronicles how as a child she managed to become a member of my family gaining two sisters. The second book is entitled The Evans Terrace Girls.
4. I stopped writing books for about ten years; then, in 2004, back by popular demand my first book reincarnated. Please, see fact #1.
5. I began ghostwriting in 2008 when people began sending others my way. That same year, I co-wrote my friend's saga about her fourteen day coma and what she learned about both worlds, the Earth and Heaven. She shows what God taught her while unconscious and thereafter. That saga is available through my lulu and AMAZON Online connections as well.
6. I broke my left arm twice in my lifetime- once during a car accident when not wearing a seat belt I used it to protect my head. I broke it, again, last year this time in two places. When the trauma surgeon inserted a rod, my Humerus shattered but not my sense of humor. As a result, I'm finishing the sequel to Mom's on the Roof and I Can't Get Her Down, which chronicles mom's deathbed predictions from God and how they panned out in this past twenty years as well as how I recovered after nearly losing my left arm twice. My ArmOr My Life drops in the Fall of 2010. You can buy it once it is hits the marketplace @ www.lulu.com/mchanson714 & AMAZON.com .
7. In college, I majored in math and computer science because most of my English teachers told me I'd never do well in their field My father told me I’d never be a Hemingway. Thank God- because that man committed suicide- that’s not my goal in life. However, while working as a library assistant, I admired that people wrote so much in one place- a book- and some did it repeatedly.
8. I thought I'd be a nun but met my husband over thirty years ago. His favorite musical movie just happens to be "The Sound of Music."
9. I'm a cracker being Florida born and raised in that state. I started in Miami when South Beach was a family location and currently live near Mickey Mouse. I love family things.
10. I wrote software for the Internet and for the telecommunications industry way before Gore invented it. Back then, it was only open to business and the government or military. I think Gore meant that he made it more widespread by opening the Internet to the general public.
Thanks for stopping by Cynthia!

10 Fun Facts About Neil O'Donnell
**Every week, one author or blogger will share 10 fun facts with us. If you would like to be featured, email me at melvautour(at)hotmail(dot)com.**
It's time for Neil O'Donnell, the author of PEOPLE OF THE SWORD, to share some interesting facts about himself. Enjoy!

1) The ending scene of my first novel, PEOPLE OF THE SWORD, was actually written as the Prologue of what now is set to be the sequel [RISE OF THE CELTS]. I wrote the scene in 1984 when I was 13.
2) I write while watching NCIS or Mad About You on DVD, while my wife works on museum scripts.
3) My brother and I had two dogs, Dillon and Murphy; I try and put them in everything I write
4) I end up a character in all my fiction pieces [if I get bored of the material as a character, I usually throw out the story]
5) My wife was very upset with me after I killed off a certain character in PEOPLE OF THE SWORD – I am now writing a spin off novel to appease her
6) I am an archaeologist – culture contact issues in my fiction are influenced by my research of how Native American and European nations impacted one another after 1st contact.
7) I don’t own a cell phone, but I am a tech person [I just hate phones]
8) Woodworking with only hand tools helps me relax. Unfortunately, I cut up my hands quite a bit and, to be honest, I’m not really good at it. I’ve made some scary-looking music boxes
9) I write short stories, focused on my novel characters, to develop them.
10) Music plays a vital role in most of my writing, because I came from a family of musicians
Thanks Neil!! I hate cellphones too. Got one last year but I rarely use it.
You should post some pics of your woodwork. I'm sure it's not as scary-looking as you say it is. :))
About PEOPLE OF THE SWORD:

PEOPLE OF THE SWORD combines myth, history, and conquest with music, sorcery and a touch of romance to impart the struggles of two vastly different cultures suddenly dependent on one another for survival. Confronted by a common enemy, the wizard Crarnock, the druids and knights of Tropal realize that only through cooperation can they defeat Crarnock's goblin army. The journey will test the resolve of both peoples as they realize that their collective bias and misunderstandings are as much a threat as Crarnock himself. For readers interested in history, mythology, culture change, and classic struggles between Good and Evil, PEOPLE OF THE SWORD is for you.
