Hey fellow book addicts!
I was on Facebook the other day and found this group : 10 signs you are addicted to reading. Here's the 10 "symptoms" they listed. I'm sure you'll recognize yourself in many of them. :)
1.You must read everywhere, if there is nothing to read, you'll read the labels on shampoo bottles or old, decrepit newspapers.
2. You bring a book with you everywhere you go. I.e: field trips, parties, restaurants...
3. You've gotten in trouble for reading excessively.
4.You could live at chapters.
5.You hate it when people say: "Oh, I don't read actually." How is that possible?
6. You ALWAYS like the book better than the movie.
7. Your dream job is working at chapters or at your local library.
8. You honestly wouldn't mind not having any friends and just spending the day reading. Also during lunch break at school/work you totally wouldn't mind sitting alone with a book.
9.Everything you know, you've learned from reading books.

I love that list, and that comic... too funny! I think I checked off all of the reasons as I read them. Definitely an addict. :)
Wow, those are...scary! I totally avoid everyone at lunch/break so they can't interrupt my reading. Great quotes at the end, too. I must seek out this group on Facebook now. As far as my "addiction" goes, I've been told that my excessive reading is anti-social, but I'm socializing right now, right?!?! Besides, reading is good for the soul :)

@Heather We may read a lot but we do socialize by blogging and tweeting...about books. :D

2. Uh-huh. One in my purse plus my eReader...at least.
3. Only in the sense of putting things off that maybe in some way should have been done when I was reading. ^_^
4. Um, I don't get this reference.
5. YES! Really? EVERYONE reads in some fashion.
6. Well...ALMOST always. I know of one series that the first movie beat the book hands down bit the second book rocked when the movie couldn't. So almost...
7. Or any other bookish job...yep.
8. Um...kind of do that at lunch. (hehe)
9. Well not everything, but a bunch.

So final verdict...*glances at list*...yep, I'm addicted. ^_^
